Enabling web notifications on your computer ensures that you will receive your clients notifications. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to enable web notifications on both Mac and Windows operating systems.

For Mac:

1. Access System Preferences: Begin by clicking on the Apple logo located in the top-left corner of your Mac's screen. From the dropdown menu, select "System Preferences."

2. Navigate to Notifications: Within the System Preferences window, you'll find various settings categories. Locate and click on the "Notifications" icon, typically represented by a bell.

3. Allow Notifications for Browser: In the Notifications settings, you'll see a list of applications that can send notifications. Scroll through the list until you find your preferred web browser, such as Safari. Ensure that the checkbox next to your browser is checked to allow notifications.

For Windows:

1. Access Settings: On your Windows computer, open the Settings app by clicking on the Start menu (Windows icon) and selecting the gear icon (Settings) from the list of options.

2. Go to Notifications & Actions: Within the Settings app, navigate to the "System" category. From the options on the left sidebar, click on "Notifications & actions."

3. Manage Notifications: Scroll down the Notifications & actions settings until you reach the "Notifications" section. Here, you can manage notification settings for various apps and websites.

4. Allow Notifications for Browser: Locate your preferred web browser, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, under the "Get notifications from these senders" section. Toggle the switch next to your browser to the "On" position to allow notifications from your browser.

By following these simple steps, you can easily enable web notifications on both Mac and Windows operating systems. Stay connected and informed with timely alerts from your favorite websites and applications.

If you have followed the above instructions and are still not getting web notifications you should give the browser permissions to do so.
