Learn how to log your clients' workouts and chat with them directly from the app.

We're excited to introduce our new mobile app designed to make it easier for personal trainers and coaches to log their clients' workouts and chat on the go. This guide will help you get started with the Hevy Coach mobile app, available on both the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.

Set up

Download the App

  • Apple Store: Search for "Hevy Coach" on the Apple Store and download the app.

  • Google Play Store: Search for "Hevy Coach" on the Google Play Store and download the app.

Sign In

  • Open the Hevy Coach app on your mobile device.

  • Sign in using your existing Hevy Coach credentials. If you don’t have an account, please sign up and go to our web app to set everything up.

Logging a Client Workout

Once you're signed in, follow these steps to log a workout for your clients:

1. Navigate to Your Client's Profile

  • Tap on the "Clients" tab at the bottom of the screen.

  • Select the client for whom you want to log a workout.

2. Log the Workout

  • On the client's profile, tap on the "Start Session" button.

  • The workout logging interface is similar to what you're clients are used to on the Hevy app, so it should feel familiar.

  • You can record sets, reps, and weights, edit exercises, add any notes or observations about the workout, and many more things.

3. Complete the Workout

  • Once you’ve logged all the exercises, review the workout for accuracy.

  • Tap "Finish Workout" to save and complete the session.

4. Client Notification

After you finish logging the workout:

  • The client will receive the completed workout on their profile.

  • They can review their progress and see the details of the session you just logged.

Chat

We understand that sometimes your client may need immediate assistance or have questions that require a quick response. With Hevy Coach's mobile app, you can easily answer your clients questions through chat. To access the chat:

1. Open the App

  • Launch the Hevy Coach app on your mobile device.

2. Navigate to Chats

  • Tap on the "Chats" section within the app's menu.

3. Start a Chat

  • Look for the client that needs your assistance

  • Tap on the chat icon and chat with them.

Additional Considerations

About the app

The Hevy Coach mobile app is your go-to tool for logging your clients' workouts and accessing chat support. However, please note that most of the features such as creating and managing programs, viewing data, and subscription management are only available through the web app. Access these additional functionalities by visiting our website via your mobile browser.
